UGEMP: Ultrasound Guided Emergency Medicine Procedures Course
The University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to provide study credits for continuing medical education for physicians. This course has been reviewed and approved by the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development. This Group Learning course meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by UBC CPD for up to 15.0 Mainpro+ credits. This course is an Accredited Simulation Program eligible for up to 15.0 MOC Section 3 credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Thank you for considering the Emergency Ultrasound Course. The following cancellation policy is in place to ensure that we have the proper number of instructors for each of our courses. The number of instructors is dependent on the number of participants; we want to ensure that the training lab experience provides enough one on one interaction with the instructor.
All registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org . Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the course date will incur a 15% penalty. Cancellations made 30-60 days prior to the course date will incur a 30% penalty. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the course date.
