Gurveen holds a Master of Public Health degree in Global Health from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She is especially interested in physician engagement, global human resources for health, and impacting health outcomes in an equitable and socially responsible manner.
Gurveen joined the UBC CPD team in 2010 as a Research Assistant in the Research and Education Unit working on a variety of research and education programs. In 2016, she supported the Vancouver Division of Family Practice portfolio as an Education Coordinator. Her current portfolio as Project Manager includes the BC Physician Integration Program (BC-PIP) and the Practice Ready Assessment BC (PRA-BC) Program.
In her spare time, Gurveen enjoys playing field hockey, adventure travelling, reading fiction, and experiencing new cultures.
