Loulou holds a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and a Bachlor of Science in International Nutrition from the University of British Columbia. She first developed her interest in research and program evaluation through her work at UBC Micronutrient Project where she conducted fieldwork in rural Sierra Leone to support the development of a national home fortification program. She has since contributed to multiple clinical and community-based research projects at UBC and UCSF.
In her current role as a Research Assistant at UBC CPD, Loulou is working on British Columbia Physician Integration Program (BC-PIP), Cancer Care Outreach Program on Education (CCOPE) Needs Assessment, and Rural Physician Mentoring Program. She is dedicated to bridging research and practice to increase access to quality care, reduce health disparities, and advance health equity.
