CCME 2020 Retreat: Coaching & Mentoring for Practice Improvement ~ The Role of CPD in Leading Change

Hyatt Regency Vancouver, 655 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC  

Meeting Room: Georgia A @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Coffee breaks and lunch to be provided. Please ensure you have breakfast before you arrive. We will provide handouts onsite and pens. 

 

Retreat Dinner (Optional)

"The Gold Room", Glowbal Restaurant,  590 West Georgia, Vancouver, BC (location is only a few blocks walk from the Hyatt hotel)  

Start time: 5:30 PM

Dinner Ticket $75 - ticket price is inclusive of food gratuity and taxes for a plated dinner (does not include beverages).  Individuals will be responsible to pay for their own beverages with the service staff at the dinner.

Abstract Submission Deadline: March 1st, 2020

Abstract Guidelines: 

  • Maximum 250 words.
  • Please include the following information if applicable: background, rationale, methods, activities, impact, conclusion, challenges and lessons learned.

Selected abstracts will be presented as an oral presentation using a format called Fishbowl. All relevant abstracts will be distributed to the retreat participants as a resource to complement the fishbowl presentations.

Please share with us your work and experiences related to Coaching and Mentoring CPD in a specific CPD or educational program. Completed work, works in progress, successful and unsuccessful initiatives are welcomed.

NOTE: abstract presentation will require an author to attend the summit to present and/or answer questions about their work. Acceptance notification will be sent by March 17th, 2020. Lead presenters will be offered faculty development training on presenting in a fishbowl format.
