By the end of the course, you will think about ED ortho differently - and use the pearls you learned on your next shift! The course is for everyone who manages ED ortho patients - urban to rural, from residents to savvy veterans.
CASTED focuses on:
(a) common, commonly missed, and commonly mismanaged injuries
(b) practising ED reductions, molding and immobilization, and
(c) disposition - knowing if and when to arrange follow-up with ortho.
CASTED is case-based and full of clinically relevant teaching points. We want you to understand ED ortho - not just memorize it! You will enjoy 2 days of practical, high-yield, practice-changing pearls!
