Overview

Join us in this meeting with local Physicians, Oncologists, BCCA leaders and patients to formulate a plan for enhancing the care of cancer survivors. This engagement session provides an opportunity for your input and innovation as we come together to develop a shared care action plan.

Guiding question: "How will we work together to ensure the post treatment needs of patients are met in the community while optimizing cancer care system capacity to address the care needs of those in active treatment?"

8:50 - 9:05 AM | Break Out Session #1- Current State

Skills Gained

  • Gain insight into current state of the region. i.e. successes and challenges primary care and oncology has in caring for cancer patients post treatment
  • Build relationships amongst participants to facilitate care of cancer survivors 
  • Build a shared commitment to a future state that is collectively identified and is sustainable 
  • Contribute to a prioritized action plan
