Dilys joined the UBC CPD team in March 2015 and is the Project Manager of the UBC Rural Continuing Professional Development (RCPD) Program, where she oversees the development and implementation of education programs and research initiatives for physicians and other health care providers who live and work in rural and remote areas of British Columbia. She is also managing an education program for family physicians on Preventing and Managing Work Disability.
She has experience in physician engagement, quality improvement, professional development, and program evaluation. She also has experience in developing physician quality improvement and practice assessment programs with the objective of providing opportunities for feedback, customized learning, and mentorship.
Prior to working at UBC CPD, Dilys was responsible for developing, implementing and managing the Fraser Health Physician Practice Professional Development Program. She has also held a variety of Research Coordinator positions within Fraser Health and elsewhere. In 2013-14 she served as the Interim Director of Quality Assurance & Practice Assessment at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Dilys holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie, a Master of Health Administration from UBC, and a PhD in Psychology from UBC.
