Overview

Part 1: Virtual Lecture Session (90 min)  

Broadcast begins at 9:00 AM PDT.  Anyone can attend but you must register for the virtual lecture in order to attend the workshops. 
Presenters: Drs. Renee Hall, Konia Trouton and Ellen Wiebe 

Part 2: Hands-on Workshop on the Web - LIMITED ATTENDANCE 

Hosted by local AND experienced providers!
Workshop A: Implants (60 min) - 5 people per trainer.  (max. 40 registrants)
Workshop B: Insertion and Managing Difficult Insertions (120 min) - 5 people per trainer (max. 20 registrants)

The Implant and Insertion workshops are now SOLD OUT. You are welcome to register for the lecture.

You can sign up for both workshops or just one. Registration by Nov 1 is required to ensure we have the time to prepare and ship the kits. You will be assigned to workshops based on your workshop selections.

•    Compare the benefits and risks of the etonogestrel subdermal implant and intrauterine contraception

Workshop A: Implants 
•    Gain expertise in inserting, localizing and removing the etonogestrel subdermal implant

Workshop B: IUDs
•    Gain expertise in inserting IUDs and troubleshooting difficult insertions

Cost

Lecture $49 (required in order to register for the workshops)

Workshop A (Implants) $125 - limited to people living in Canada due to shipping of materials

Workshop B (IUDs) $175 - limited to people living in Canada due to shipping of materials
