Jennie is a Project Manager for the Faculty of Medicine's Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD). In this role, Jennie oversees the design and development of a range of new CPD programs, developed in partnership with organizations such as the Practice Support Program, the Health Data Coalition, and the Northern Quality Improvement Collaborative. Jennie completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Manchester in the UK and her Master of Arts in Human Development, Learning and Culture at the University of British Columbia. Jennie’s Master’s thesis examined family physicians’ experiences of formal continuing professional development. Jennie has broad experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of education programs in Canada and Europe, and uses her experience to guide the development and implementation of innovative education programs at UBC CPD. In her role, Jennie also conducts research examining novel approaches to CPD programming, which she has presented at various conferences in Canada and the US. Jennie is particularly interested in examining the varied roles CPD plays for healthcare professionals, patients, and the broader healthcare system.
