Overview

Are you unsure how to help your patients get more comprehensive care? The aim of this meeting is to connect GPs with some of the people who provide services to enhance care for our maternity patients. We will hear briefly from a variety of speciality clinics and service providers about what they offer, who is eligible, and how to contact them. Practice support forms and tools are included.

  2. Refer women at the best time to appropriate Public Health services
  3. Confidently refer appropriate women with medical problems to the Obstetrical Medicine service at BCWH.
  4. Access support for maternity patients with special needs such as poverty, language barriers, addictions, refugees, teens, and mental health concerns. 
  5. Manage and coordinate referrals for pregnant and postpartum women with up-to-date communication tools and contact information.
