During her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McGill University, Paige began to realize that empowering ones health comes from understanding the body and all it's physiological processes. She decided the best way to communicate this message to patients and healthcare professionals was through visual communication. Upon graduation, Paige enrolled at Sheridan College in Ontario to enhance her art and visual skills. It was there that she discovered a profession existed that merged art and science seamlessly: medical illustration. She applied to one of four graduate programs which specialize in biomedical visualization and now holds a Masters Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since graduating in May 2017, Paige moved to Vancouver and is currently working with UBC CPD and the Department of Cellular and Physiological Sciences at UBC to optimize the transmission of medical education for students and practicing healthcare professionals. She specializes in illustration, design, and current e-Learning trends. In her free time, Paige enjoys biking the city and exploring Vancouver's delicious food scene!
