1. Women’s Health Update 2026

Jan. 24 (Sat)

Building on last year’s success, the Victoria Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology continues to highlight a wide range of women’s health topics tailored to evolving needs of health professionals across BC.

Session topics include:

  • Obstetrical Hypertensive Disease: The Care Beyond
  • Penthrox: The Role and Roll Out (for IUD Insertions)
  • Clearing the Fog: The Role of Testosterone in Midlife Women’s Health and Wellness

2. The Menopause Essentials  

Feb. 6 (Fri)

This brand-new virtual conference is designed to equip Canadian primary care providers with strategies to better support patients through perimenopause and menopause. Learn how to confidently recognize and assess stages, symptoms and impacts of the midlife transition.  

  • Get updates on topics every health professional should know about:
  • From Estrogen to Progestin: Understanding Hormones, Terminology and Treatment
  • Navigating Menopause in Patients with Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Syndrome

3. UBC Care of the Elderly Intensive Review Course 2026

Feb. 11-13 (Wed-Fri)

This three-day course offers virtual and in-person options at UBC Robson Square. Practitioners are invited to choose a ‘light’ package or a ‘full’ bundle with two afternoon workshops.  

Participants will learn to:

  • implement interventions to improve quality of life for elderly patients
  • apply comprehensive strategies for dementia care and cognitive health
  • integrate multidisciplinary approaches for geriatric care

Earn up to 18.0 Mainpro+/MOC Section 1 credits.

4. 61st Annual Family Practice Review

Feb. 26-28 (Thu-Fri)

Virtually or in person at The Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, this annual course returns with updates on family medicine practice in rural and urban settings.

This virtual conference takes place for the first time next year—addressing the urgent need for improved ADHD care in BC.
