eLearning courses
When will I receive my certificate?
Certificates are sent to your email 60 to 75 minutes after completing the post-course evaluation survey.
Where do I find past certificates?
Past certificates for a reset course can be accessed from the Customer Portal, located in the “My eLearning” tab on the left-hand column, then the "Completed" tab. If the certificate you are looking for is unavailable, contact us at @email.
How do I prepare for the Fetal Health Surveillance (FHS) workshop?
- Complete the Canada Fundamentals of FHS Online Manual as pre-reading before taking the FHS Canada Online Exam. A certificate from the online manual is not required to register for the exam.
- The FHS Canada Online Exam costs $30. A voucher from a workshop registration is acceptable payment to register for one exam.
- If you are re-taking the FHS Online Manual and wish to reset your progress, click “reset my activity completion.”
- Ensure you receive an FHS Canada Online Exam certificate prior to starting the FHS workshop.
Can I retake an eLearning course or reset my course progress?
The following courses are available to retake on your course page:
- Canada Fundamentals of Fetal Health Surveillance Online Manual / Manuel en ligne sur les principes fondamentaux de la surveillance du bien-être fœtal de SBF Canada.
- Midwifery Emergency Skills Program (MESP) Online Learning / Examen de MESP.
- Addiction Care and Treatment Online Course.
If you wish to reset your course progress, click “reset my activity completion.” If you re-complete a course, you can access your new certificate from the Customer Portal. A new email will not be sent.
I cannot register for an online course. It says I have already registered.
If you have previously registered for an eLearning course, click “Resume eLearning” from the course learning activity webpage or access the course from your UBC CPD eLearning dashboard. If you are unable to sign in to a course you have registered for, contact us at @email.
Conferences
Where can I view my conference certificate?
Registrations for conferences are manually entered and reviewed. Certificates will be issued by email two weeks after the conference.
Where can I find my proof of registration and receipt?
A registration confirmation will be sent to the email used to register after payment. A copy of your receipt will be attached to this message.
How can I make selection changes (workshops, dinner tickets, etc.) to a learning activity I have already registered for?
Contact us at @email indicating the changes you would like to make.
Will recorded conferences be shared after the event?
Most learning activity recordings will be available for viewing up to three months post-conference. Check your post-activity email to confirm how long the recordings will be available to view. If you are unsure, contact us at @email. A link to resources will be sent to all registrants via email and posted to the Resources and Recordings webpage, unless requested by the speaker(s).

Webinars and Rounds
Will presentations be shared after the event?
Most webinars will be available for viewing for up to three years. A link to resources will be sent to all registrants via email and posted to the Resources and Recordings webpage, unless requested by the speaker(s).
How can I access closed captioning during live webinars?
Closed captioning (CC), while not currently available on our live stream platform, can be enabled locally on your own computer. View instructions for enabling CC on Windows or Mac. Once webinars are uploaded to the Resources and Recordings webpage, CC is available on the Panopto platform in the bottom right.
When will I receive my certificate?
Certificates will be distributed via email within four weeks of the webinar. Certificates are only distributed to those who complete the attendance form within one week of the webinar. If you do not receive a link to the attendance form, contact us at @email.

Refunds and Cancellations
What is the refund or cancellation policy for the learning activity I registered for?
Refunds and cancellations policies vary depending on each learning activity. Read our refunds and cancellation policies.
Payment
How do I make a payment online?
We accept payment by Visa and Master Card through our online payment system. American Express, Debit and Visa Debit cards are not accepted.
I am having trouble paying with my credit card.
Confirm the address you entered matches the information that your credit card company has on file for you. If you are paying with a company card, confirm the billing address for the company card, then resubmit the transaction. If you are still having difficulty getting the credit card transaction to be approved, contact us at cpd.info@ubc.ca.
Vouchers
Voucher policies may vary depending on the learning activity. We are unable to replace or reimburse expired vouchers. Connect with our support team at @email for questions or assistance.

Recordings
Will my learning activity be recorded?
Confirm that the learning activity you are registered for will be recorded by checking the activity’s webpage. Recordings are uploaded to the Resources and Recordings webpage or are available through a link sent to your email address.
- Conferences: Most learning activity recordings will be available for viewing up to three months post-conference. Check your post-activity email to confirm how long the recordings will be available to view. If you are unsure, contact us at cpd.info@ubc.ca.
- Webinars and workshops: Most recordings will be available for viewing for up to three years.
Can I access the recording if I missed the scheduled learning activity?
If you missed the learning activity, you might be eligible for late registration to access recordings. Email cpd.info@ubc.ca for assistance.
If you missed the deadline for attendance, let us know at @email. Watching the recordings is only eligible for Self-Learning credits and can be claimed independently by logging into your college's learning portal.

My Account
How do I reset my password?
Reset your password on the website. You will receive an automated email from @email with instructions. If you are still experiencing issues, email cpd.info@ubc.ca.
I tried to change my password and get a message that I require a special character, but it does not accept it.

How do I sign up to receive notification of upcoming events?
Sign up for our newsletter and other specialized UBC CPD emails through our subscription form.
Promotion
Can you promote my event, learning or research activity on your website or through email?
Due to the high volume of promotions for UBC CPD-partnered learning activities, we cannot provide additional marketing for external learning activities.
To qualify for a learning activity to be listed on our website, external CPD providers need to be an active partner engaged with building a UBC CPD learning activity, a recent UBC CPD accredited program or a UBC department or affiliated centre. Find solutions and connect with us.
