Elder Cheryl Schweizer, I am from the Tl’azt’en Nation and of the Lusilyoo (frog) clan. I am a Mother to six and Grandma to 12. I garden, grow food and harvest Traditional medicine and plants, as well as hunt and fish.
Harley Eagle, I am of Dakota and Anishinabe heritage. I am a Cultural Safety facilitator and consultant residing in K’omoks territory on Vancouver Island.
Dr. Terri Aldred, I am Dakelh from the Tl’Azt’En Nation. I live, work and play in the Lheidli T’enneh ancestral and unceded lands, otherwise known as Prince George. This work is in my blood.
Dr. Dana Hubler, I am a settler to this land. I was born in the traditional territory of the Tsimshian people and am now raising my family on the lands of the K’omoks Nation. I am committed to the healing power of truth and reconciliation.
Dr. Alisa Harrison (PhD), I am a settler to this land. I was born on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the x ʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), S ḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), s əlilwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I now live on the traditional territory of the s cəw̓ aθən (Tsawwassen) First Nation. I recognize my responsibility to dismantle colonial structures and individual racism and amplify Indigenous ways of being and knowing.
Ievgeniia Rozhenko, I am a settler to this land. I grew up in Ukraine and now live and work on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the x ʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people.
