Cannabis Flowchart

The Cannabis Flowchart is a tool intended to help physicians manage patients who present with the use of medical or non-medical cannabis in primary care. It provides an interactive clinical algorithm that summarizes indications for prescribing, decision points, and screening for problematic cannabis use. The tool includes guidance on patient counseling and various types and administration routes of cannabis, as well as links to various resources such as online modules, videos, and point of care references. It is currently in development as a joint initiative between UBC CPD and the BC Ministry of Health that aims to provide educational content for health care providers as they adjust to the legalization of herbal cannabis products.
