Overview

Beginning Fall 2020, we will be offering virtual small-group sessions for providers seeking to expand their knowledge of medical cannabis in patient care. Through interactive case-based discussions, learners will have the opportunity to discuss patient questions and concerns related to the consumption of medical cannabis and prepare management plans and prescriptions with case studies to address treatment goals, risks/benefits, and follow-up.

This virtual small-group case-based session supports prescribers to gain practical experience in discussing cannabis with patients, preparing management plans to address patient treatment goals, and employing best practices in follow-up care.

NOTE: Previous workshop attendees highly recommend to complete the Cannabis Education for Health Care Providers eLearning module before attending the workshop to optimize learning.

Our team is working to schedule additional workshops in the new year. Please email Hadas Haft (hadas.h@ubc.ca) to be notified when registration for these opens.
