Step 1: Choose The Right Format

Is the main goal to teach a concept? Anatomical structure? Procedure? Choose a format that best achieves this purpose

Step 2: Mix The Ingredients

  1. Visit UBC Ed Tech for resources on online teaching, teaching with technology, and course material examples.
  • 3 Parts Flour:

Provides the essential materials. Are the objectives properly crafted? Are the take-home points clearly taught & repeatedly summarized?

  2. Creating a summary handout:

Binds it all together. Is there a memorable theme to tie everything together?

Step 3: Present With A Flourish
