Annette McCall (She/Her)

I was born and raised in Germany and immigrated to Canada in my late teens. I studied chemistry and biochemistry at UVic, followed by medical school and a family practice residency at UBC, which included a rural placement in Port McNeil.

In the years of practice, I've provided comprehensive full service medicine, gradually transitioning away from obstetrics and emergency medicine along the way while continuing combined roles in hospitalist and in-office care. I always valued the opportunity to teach medical students and residents, and mentor international medicial graduates (IMGs) and younger colleagues over the past decade.

I have held a number of leadership positions and currently collaboratively developing a community health centre on the Sunshine Coast.

Outside of medicine, I am the proud mother of 3 adult sons.
