Judy Dercksen (She/Her)

Dr. Judy Dercksen is a Family Physician currently practicing in Qualicum Beach.  She has been practicing medicine for more than 35 years, in rural communities for 20 years and has lived experience of complex PTSD and chronic pain.  Her focus is now on chronic pain management, community care, and virtual care. Dr. Dercksen is passionate about working with colleagues to alleviate patients’ pain and to prevent downstream consequences of complex PTSD. She looks forward to working with a coachee/mentee who would like to learn about opioid prescribing, pain management and complex PTSD. Dr. Dercksen enjoys healthy debate and learning from others, both in her professional and personal life.
