Lemay Henderson

Lemay is a Family Physician with 30 years of rural and remote practice across British Columbia and Ontario. Her scope of practice includes clinic work, emergency care, hospital medicine, and long-term care. She completed Duke Integrative Medicine Foundations Coaching Program and has 40 years of meditation practice along with 20 years of teaching meditation, making her a compassionate and grounded listener. Her areas of expertise include Meditation-Related Adverse Experiences, Somatic Experiencing® trauma therapy, Integrative Medicine, MSK acupuncture, and evidence-based botanical medicine. Outside of her professional life, Lemay enjoys music – playing guitar and singing – and adventure motorcycling. She looks forward to working with individuals interested in integrative medical practice, personal wellness, navigating trauma, or managing the challenges of caregiving alongside professional responsibilities.
