Tandi Wilkinson (She/Her)

Tandi is a rural family physician who left her generalist practice many years ago to practice full time rural emergency medicine in rural and remote settings, including indigenous communities. She lives in Nelson BC, and has a large number of diverse interests, having held positions at the provincial level in medical education leadership, (UBC CPD) research, (Rural Scholar) and physician wellness. (The Thriving Project at RCCbc. She currently divides her time between these interests, EM locums and her new passion of psychedelic assisted therapy, having recently completed her studies in this field. Her long experience in the practice of medicine has led her naturally to the practices of unconditional positive regard and trauma informed care. She loves opportunity for deep connection with others and finds her medical colleagues to be inspiring people. She finds joy being outside in all kinds of weather.
