In partnership with the Perinatal Community of Practice, we're pleased to offer this webinar exploring innovative approaches to improving access to maternity care across the province. Hear from a panel of maternity care providers as they discuss the barriers to care, particularly in rural and remote communities, and share successful strategies, resources and models that can help address these challenges.

Learning objectives

By the end of this webinar, you will be able to: 

  1. Describe key barriers affecting access to maternity care in BC, including challenges in rural and remote communities. 
  2. Examine strategies to improve access to maternity services, including centralized referral systems and team-based care models. 
  3. Identify resources that can support patients and providers in accessing and navigating maternity care services.
