Preventing Food Allergies in Infants: Early Introduction to Allergenic Solids

Overview

In the past 20 years, our understanding of the development of food allergy in infants has changed dramatically. We now know that the early introduction of allergenic solids can help to prevent food allergy in infants. We also know that healthcare providers play an important role in increasing caregiver confidence in introducing these allergenic foods.

This interactive online course is designed to give clinicians the knowledge and skills required to educate and support families in the safe introduction of allergenic foods to infants. It includes videos, interactives, communication strategies and resources for both clinicians and families, all based on the most recent and up-to-date research.
