The Physician Education Program
The Island Medical Program (IMP) Physician Education Program (PEP) provides needs-based continuing professional development and faculty development to clinicians in Island Health. The program provides needs-based education for island clinicians by using up-to-date evidence-based methods to support lifelong, multidisciplinary learning. IMP PEP offers improved patient and population health outcomes, provider competency and satisfaction and strengthened diverse patient populations and island medical communities.
In partnership with UBC CPD, we design, deliver and evaluate accredited and innovative continuing medical education throughout the Island Health region.
