Clinical Faculty Mentoring

Overview

Currently reviewing 2024 applications

UBC Faculty Affairs and UBC CPD have partnered to deliver a mentoring program to clinical faculty within the UBC Faculty of Medicine.

The Clinical Faculty Mentoring program pairs junior clinical faculty/new educators (mentees) with senior clinical faculty (mentors) and includes the 22 departments and schools that make up UBC’s Faculty of Medicine.

The program will run its sixth cohort from October 2024 to April 2025, with applications now open (see below). This program continues to find success by offering a semi-structured program with minimum mandatory participation.

The program also supports Faculty of Medicine departments to run their own department-specific mentoring programs, through sharing of tools, resources, and processes.

Dates: October 2024 to April 2025.
Audience: Clinical Faculty in UBC Faculty of Medicine
Credits: Up to 9.0 Mainpro+/MOC Section 3 for Mentees; Up to 2.0 Mainpro+/MOC Section 1 for Mentors
