The UBC CPD Scholarly Interest Group will stimulate and foster the generation and application of (Continuing Professional Development) CPD research at UBC through synchronous meetings, asynchronous email threads, drop-in research consultations and invitations to participate in research activities.

The group is open to all UBC faculty and staff interested in conducting CPD research or applying CPD research findings to their own educational practice.

By learning together through practical experience, members will have the opportunity to:

• analyze new research papers on CPD and discuss their relevance to practice
• receive expert guidance on your research projects  
• shadow research activities, such as peer reviews and grant submissions.

The first group meeting will take place in December 2024.
