Alex Jackman (She/Her)

Dr. Alex Jackman is a developmental pediatrician in her first five years of practice. She completed all her medical training in Alberta, and is now practicing full scope developmental pediatrics in Victoria. Dr. Jackman has completed communication and educational skills training to enhance work with both families and clinicians. She's passionate about empowering community pediatricians in their developmental skills, as well as fostering community expertise. Dr. Jackman grew up in a rural community, and completed Integrated Community Clerkship training in Alberta, giving her insight into practice challenges for rural and remote clinicians. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking and reading, though spends the bulk of her non-work hours wrangling her two sons. Dr. Jackman looks forward to working with a coachee/mentee to increase the confidence of rural community pediatricians and to build relationships with colleagues across the province.
