Jen Jeans (They/Them)

Dr. Jen Jeans (they/them) is a Family Physician who practices in Mental Health and Senior's Health. They are a white settler, who lives in the unceded territory of the Cowichan tribes (Duncan BC). Dr. Jeans has additional training in psychotherapy and executive coaching. They are a Clinical Instructor with UBC Medicine, and a facilitator with Mind Space (CBT skills) and the BC Association for Living Mindfully (BCALM). They are also a member of the Doctors of BC’s Inclusivity Diversity and Equity Committee. In a coaching capacity, Jen will work with you to create a safe and compassionate space to explore your inner landscape. Their approach is light on advice or opinions - instead, offering curiosity, support, and guidance to help you find the directions that fit best for you. They love to work with a wide perspective on topics including: purpose and meaning, well-being, life and death, core values, and life transitions. They have a special interest in working with folks who are trying to find their way in medicine (and in life). If you would like to learn more, please reach out!
