Andrea Townson (She/Her)

Andrea is Associate Head, Education, UBC Department of Medicine, and Regional Medical Lead for Rehabilitation, VCHA. She specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and has been clinical faculty for 28 years. Andrea has an interest in medical education and leadership, has a Masters in Health Professions Education, and is undertaking spinal cord injury research and some educational research. She enjoys talking to new and mid-career faculty and trying to connect them with opportunities and resources while thinking about career planning and juggling multiple commitments. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, biking, and reading
