3. Island Medicine: Updates, Skills & Networking 2026

April 24 and 25 (Fri–Sat) | In person | Victoria, BC

Health professionals are eligible for up to 8 Mainpro+/MOC Section 1 credits for this one and a half‑day conference. Get clinical updates, hands‑on skills development and connection with peers practising in island and coastal communities. Day one features high‑yield plenary sessions and a networking reception, while day two focuses on practical skills with expert facilitators.

4. Western Sleep Conference

May 9 (Sat) | Virtual

This virtual conference offers a focused, practice‑ready update on adult sleep disorders like insomnia, sleep apnea, parasomnias and more. 5. Practical Perimenopause 101

May 20 (Wed) | Virtual

This interactive virtual evening session is designed to build confidence in recognizing and managing perimenopause. With a brief expert presentation followed by an extended audience Q&A, the course focuses on real‑world challenges and patient questions, from irregular bleeding to sleep concerns and cognitive changes.

6. BC Rural Health Conference 2026

May 29–31 (Fri–Sun) | In-person | Prince George, BC

Hosted in Prince George, BC, this annual conference brings together rural health professionals for clinically relevant education, hands‑on workshops and meaningful connections. With content tailored to the realities of rural and remote practice, the conference combines learning, collaboration and community.
