Research and Program Assistant

The Research and Program Assistant supports the development of research study design aligned with educational program objectives and outcomes.  

Working collaboratively with UBC CPD team members, health professionals and external consultants, the role will develop needs assessments and evaluation instruments to ensure methodologies are ethical and aligned with national standards. The Research and Program assistant also supports event coordination and works closely with Indigenous Elders, clinicians and partners using a relational and culturally humble approach.

Applicants must have completed a relevant technical program or university degree in relevant discipline, plus a minimum of three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

A successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to enhance their awareness, knowledge and skills related to equity, diversity and inclusion. Familiarity with traditional and online methods of course delivery, data analysis software, and research requirements and procedures is an asset.
