Looking Beyond a Diagnosis: Mental Health in Primary Care
Family physicians and nurse practitioners play a central role in supporting adults with mental health needs. This self-paced online course equips primary care providers with practical tools to enhance mental health care in the primary care setting. Through three interactive lessons, you will explore the role of the primary care provider in adult mental health, principles of trauma-sensitive care, and strategies for effective communication.
