Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis Online Education

Overview

This online module is for all health care providers that care for children and wish to learn more about how to better recognize, treat, and manage atopic dermatitis in a primary care setting.

Outline

This course is divided into four lessons:

  1. Diagnosis and Clinical Features of Atopic Dermatitis in Children
  2. Differential Diagnosis of Atopic Dermatitis in Children
  3. Management of Atopic Dermatitis
  4. Caregiver Education of Atopic Dermatitis
Learning objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Recognize the clinical features and diagnostic criteria of childhood atopic dermatitis.
  • Identify differential diagnoses and rule out common mimickers of atopic dermatitis.
  • Treat and manage mid-to-moderate severity childhood atopic dermatitis in a primary care setting.
  • Provide education and explore resources for atopic dermatitis for children and their parents/caregivers.
