This short online course introduces family physicians and specialists new to practice in British Columbia (BC), key components of the BC and Canadian health care system.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- List the key components of the health care system
- Describe how health care is paid for patients in BC
- Describe how physicians are paid in BC
- Identify national and provincial organizations relevant to IMGs and what they do
- Identify resources provided by the organizations
