The Faculty of Medicine Award recognizes exemplary and distinguished service to the UBC Faculty of Medicine (UBC FoM) in the areas of Continuing Professional Development/Continuing Medical Education (CME/CPD). Recipients are given an honorarium of $1,000 and recognized at the Faculty of Medicine Awards Reception. Nominations are invited for the following awards: Innovation in CPD/CME and Distinguished Service to CPD/CME.

The British Columbia Physician Integration Program (BC-PIP) is a free educational initiative offered by UBC CPD that supports the transition for physicians trained outside of Canada into the BC health-care system.

UBC CPD coordinates and delivers the learning activities for the British Columbia Physician Integration Program (BC-PIP). Eligibility  The BC-PIP program is available to licensed physicians in BC who meet one of the following criteria: Are a provisionally licensed physician who completed their postgraduate training outside of Canada. Are a fully licensed physician who completed their postgraduate training in the United States (US) and are in their first year of practice in BC.
