The Practice Support Program (PSP) is a quality improvement focused GPSC initiative. Through PSP, doctors have the opportunity to practice more efficiently, focus on providing proactive care, and work towards adopting the attributes of the patient medical home in British Columbia. With doctors’ schedules in mind PSP’s services are customized to meet each practice’s needs. Over time, PSP has experienced an increased demand for flexible, accessible training sessions. The Physiotherapy CPD Initiative supports quality improvement in physiotherapy practice, focusing on the lifelong learning needs of rural and isolated practitioners along with new graduates, distributed physiotherapy clinical faculty and facilitate interprofessional CPD. Our goal is to improve the health and quality of life of British Columbians through innovative CPD and to support quality improvement in physiotherapy practice. Overview Welcome to the UBC CPD Coaching for Excellence in the Operating Room Program! This program is now closed. It was funded by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This clinical coaching program for specialist physicians (surgeons and anesthesiologists) supported physicians to participate in peer-to-peer coaching interactions to enhance their practice in the operating room by pairing physician coachees with peer coaches.
